Hi, my name is Julia.
A little about me…
I love to laugh.
Therapy is hard work. I think bringing laughter and levity into the space is so important and marker of my work. Yes, I will ask you difficult questions. Yes. I will challenge you. But I will laugh with you as well.
2. I love coffee.
Please always feel free to bring a snack or beverage with you. Therapy is an intimate space. Eating and drinking can create connection and bring walls down. If you forget your coffee, I’m always glad to brew a cup for you!
3. I love my people.
People bring me joy and life. It’s why I do what I do. I met my husband 13 years ago, and he’s been making me laugh ever since *see #1.* Colorado is home for us both, and our people are our reason to stay. Also, my dog is one of my people and you can’t convince me otherwise.
4. I love therapy.
I believe in it because I’ve seen it work in my own life and the lives of those I love. Therapy is a beautiful space to encounter safety and connection. Typically our deepest hurts come from relationship, and we need relationship to heal those space.
